Another year, another Guide to Union Blogging. The network has grown so much in 2009 that I thought I'd repeat the exercise and rate the blogs aggregated here to see what's happening and what's popular.

A welcome to our 120th union blog in the Tigmoo network today! It's Ryde Trades Council's RTUC's blog, and is currently being kept very busy by the high profile Vestas wind turbines factory dispute on the Island. Check them out for the latest on the campaign.

Tory blog-magnate Iain Dale compiles an annual list of the top political blogs, with top 100s in left, right and centre groupings. Whilst the whole exercise might mainly be a publicity tool for Dale himself, there's no-one else doing it as well, so more power to his elbow.

A very warm welcome to Unionblogs.ca, a Canadian blog aggregator in the style of TIGMOO.co.uk. It's been created by David Empey, using Drupal (the same system as this site) and so far tracks 7 union-related blogs.

UnionBook is a new social networking service from LabourStart, just for union activists. It has a bunch of free and powerful tools for people who want to run groups or campaigns online.
